How we handle your information

No legalese. This covers what Ohma collects when you use the free audit tool, why we collect it, and how to ask us to stop or delete it.

What we collect

When you request an audit, we collect the email address and website address you give us, and the audit report our system generates about that website. We also collect limited website-use analytics described below. We don’t ask for anything else.

Website analytics

We use Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity on this production site to understand visits, safe form progress and error categories, completed audits, and how the page is used. The audit form is masked from Clarity, and we don’t send names, email addresses, phone numbers, website or business names, form answers, or report identifiers to either service. Advertising storage and personalisation are turned off.

Why we collect it

We use your email and website address to run the audit, save your report to a private link, and send it to your inbox. We may also follow up occasionally with something useful for your website — never often, and always easy to stop.

How long we keep it

We keep your details until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them. There’s no automatic expiry, but there’s also no reason for us to hold onto your information longer than you’re comfortable with.

Unsubscribing

Every email from us includes an unsubscribe link, and you can manage your preferences any time on the unsubscribe page. One click, no account, no lengthy forms.

We don’t sell your data

We don’t sell, rent or trade your information to anyone else, for any reason. It’s used to run your audit and to talk to you — full stop.

Access, correction or deletion

Under the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs), you can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you. Email hello@ohma.com.au and we’ll sort it out, usually within a few days.

This policy follows the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). Questions about any of this? Email hello@ohma.com.au — a real person will reply.
